Join your HSO for a family-friendly afternoon of four-hand piano fun and sizzling strings featuring HSO principal violinists. Famed for its brilliant musical wit, vivid imagery, and accessible charm, The Carnival of the Animals is a “zoological fantasy” that uses instruments to mimic animals, such as the double bass for an elephant, the xylophone for fossils, and the cello for the swan. Animals will be depicted by dancers from the Deos Ballet! 

Attendance is free. Subscribers and donors will receive priority seating.

Enjoy treats from the Dolce Mini Cakes food truck. Marlene Buller’s Frosted Memories will also be serving home-baked treats for purchase before the performance and at intermission. The menu is below. 15% of all food and beverage sales will be donated to the HSO Education Fund.

This concert is almost sold out!  How can I get tickets?

We currently have a waitlist for tickets.  Email ticketing@hollandsymphony.org or call Amanda at 616-796-6780 to be added to the list.   This email will be monitored through the end of the day on Friday, August 14, but it will not be checked on Saturday, August 15.

We will be offering rush tickets (last minute tickets issued for unused seats) at WOPAC on a first-come, first-served basis, beginning at 1pm.  When you arrive, go to the ticket booth and we will add your name to our list.  We will line people up at 1:45.  During the opening announcements ushers will seat rush ticket patrons in any available seats.   While we cannot make any guarantees, we have always been able to accommodate everyone with rush tickets.
