Carlos Simon’s Fate Now Conquers responds to Beethoven’s iconic Seventh Symphony\, weaving gospel roots with classical brilliance. Elgar’s haunting Cello Concerto\, born from post-war grief\, contrasts deep melancholy with flashes of resilience. Tchaikovsky’s autobiographical Fourth Symphony erupts with passion\, its “fate” motif driving a journey from turmoil to euphoric triumph.   Tickets: $33-$31\, Obstructed $15\, Students $12   Renewing subscribers will receive their 2026-2027 HSO brochure and order forms in the mail in late March.
