Dvo?ák: Symphony No. 8 in G Major, Op. 88

Jonathan Girard returns for a second appearance with the Holland Symphony to conduct this concert with special guest Alicia Eppinga, cellist.  Alicia is the principal cellist with the Grand Rapids Symphony and is performing a concerto written for her by Alexander Miller, composer and oboist also with Grand Rapids Symphony.  Girard is the  Director of Orchestras at University of British Columbia School of Music, Canada.

HSO is trying a new approach…instead of having the pre-concert talk immediately prior to the concert, this talk is now part of our Classical Chat series.  This popular informative and informal talk, open to all ticket holders, will be held at the 6th Floor Auditorium in Freedom Village, on Thursday, October 27 at 3:00-4:00pm.  Please join us for this wonderful presentation!

Parking Map at the Miller Center

Holland Symphony Orchestra will reserve and monitor Lot 40 for handicapped parking.  The faculty parking lots are available for parking after 5pm.
